    Hey Lee
Hope you're having a great summer! Nice seeing you over at Kingpin - stop by whenever you and Christian can. Just got me an Elite Black Label - rolled 716 the second set with it - an awesome ball (so far LOL)! Stay in touch.

Video is a scary thing, but a must to improve swing and rolling the ball rather than throwing the ball.

I have done the same thing several times... by reviewing old videos.. I try to shoot some every 2-3 months of myself.
Did you try that Triax spare system?

Thanks for the comments on my site, yes it is nice to get the first 300 out of the way, in all a very strange night as I bowled only 180 average on the league just before the main league (and that is a 9-pin tap league), but then came the serious league and I was in another world, I did not miss the pocket in the first game, got 4 weak 10 pins in the game, so I decided to change ball for the 2nd game for something with a little more finish in the back end (game 1 was NoMercy, Game 2&3 RotoGrip RS-X), game 1 was 236, then the 300 in game 2 and started the game 3 with a double (to make it 15 in a row), then left a 7 and a 2 pin in the following frames picked the 7, missed the 2 on frame 4, and from that point I only got a 10 pin and a 9 pin in the rest of the game, striking on the rest for a 225.

Thanks Lee. When I left the 8-10, it looked good to me. And in the next frame (the 7th) I left a solid 10 pin. Even though I thought it looked good, I needed to either come in a little higher on the head pin, or with more drive. I moved up on the approach approximately 8 inches and got strikes in the 8th, 9th and the first ball of the 10th frame. The second ball of the 10th frame, I came in to high and left the 4 pin.

Thanks again for commenting on my site.

Unfortunatly the better bowlers have turned a very good mens doubles league (once had 21 teams)to a very elitist league which is now down to 15 teams. It has always been a handicap league but people are even starting to push to make it scratch. I think the main reason is that the prize fund is $6000 (winners get $1600) and those with the higher averages can lose out to low average bowlers who shoot high. My team came second last year with averages of 202,201 & (180 sub) but I would prefer your sugestion of 90% although I think there would be more chance of me shooting 900 series!!!

I will be putting out blogs of how things go in the league. Thanks for showing interest and good luck with your own season

Hi Lee. I guess I could have worded my post better. I was very happy with my bowling Friday night. It did seem kind of easy bowling on a house pattern (compared to bowling on the sport shots). The only thing I can complain about the set is that I missed two single pin spares. There is at least one house out here that will be running a PBA Experience league during the Winter season, but that wont start for another month. Hope I can stay focused this season, and not lose what I gained over the summer season.

    Lee:
On my blog the bowling center is Baker Lanes and it is a four man team. The scores are my individual scores and they are not cut off (scroll to your right next time you are on the site and you will be able to see the tenth frames).
    I hope that clarifies everything.
    Good luck in the future.

Hi Lee. Thanks for the post on my site. Anyway, the people running the 2 ball sport league wont tell us the length of the oil. I can say that it definitely a long pattern. I bowled on the Scorpion pattern last week in my Tournament league, and I got a lot more movement on the Scorpion pattern than I do on the Sport League. We will be bowling on the Shark pattern next week for my Tournament league, and I will see how it does in comparison. I am hoping they will give us some details on the pattern once the league is over.
